DEVELOPMENT PREVIEW · OCTOBER 7, 2026
Privacy notice
This notice describes the current RotorGrade development app, this preview website and release requests. RotorGrade is a development project based in Florida, United States. Contact the project operator at info@rotorgrade.com for privacy questions or requests. The commercial publisher has not yet been selected; this notice will be updated before a public app launch.
Video processing in the app
The app processes videos, audio, camera motion data, LUTs and color presets on your device. It does not have a RotorGrade account, advertising or analytics service, and it does not upload your media to the project operator. Files and Photos you choose may be stored in iCloud or another cloud service you use. Those providers handle downloads, syncing and destinations you choose to share with under their own terms.
Photos permissions support importing selected originals and saving finished videos. Camera and microphone permissions support recording only when you choose it. App preferences are stored locally. On iPad, temporary imports are removed after successful processing or through the working-copy controls; unfinished work is cleaned up on relaunch. Completed exports remain in the app until saved to Photos or discarded. Sharing to Files may leave the app’s copy until you discard it. On Mac, exported files and saved looks remain in the folders used by the app or selected by you. System backups and copies saved elsewhere follow your device and provider settings.
Exported videos may retain source metadata, including recording dates and location if present. Check that information before sharing a video. Muting audio does not remove location metadata.
Visiting this website
The interactive preview uses an illustrative scene. It does not upload or process your videos. Our page code does not set analytics or advertising cookies, use tracking pixels, or save the preview controls to browser storage. Porkbun hosts the site and may process connection information such as IP address, browser details and request logs to deliver and secure it. See Porkbun’s privacy policy. Ordinary browser caching may store site assets.
Release requests and support
The release button opens a message in your own email app. Nothing is submitted to us until you send it. Your email address, any display name, message and normal email metadata then reach our iCloud Mail inbox. See Apple’s privacy policy. We use a release request only to manage your request and send RotorGrade release dates and availability news. Support messages are used to respond to your question. Please do not send private footage or sensitive information unless needed for an agreed support request.
There is no automatic newsletter account or instant subscription confirmation. Requests are managed manually. We do not sell release-list addresses or use them for third-party advertising. We keep active release requests for up to 12 months from your request, unless you renew your interest or unsubscribe earlier. Support correspondence is kept for up to 12 months after a matter is resolved, unless retention is required by law.
Your choices
Reply “unsubscribe” or email info@rotorgrade.com to stop release emails. We remove you from the active list within 10 business days. We may retain the minimum record needed to honor an opt-out. You can also request access, correction or deletion of your correspondence by email. Service-provider backups may take additional time to expire. Revoke device permissions in system Settings and manage local files on your device.
Children and families
RotorGrade is a general-audience editing tool, not a service directed to children under 13. Release email requests are for adults 18 and older. A parent or guardian may request news on a younger person’s behalf using the adult’s address. We do not ask for a birth date. If you believe a child under 13 has sent personal information to us, contact us so we can remove it and stop using it for release emails.
Updates and availability
Website and email providers may process data in the United States and other locations described in their policies. This development preview is not a statement that the app has launched in every country. Changes to data practices will be reflected here before new collection features are introduced. No public release date is promised.
